I was chasing a board sponsor that wasn’t doing s**t so I bought a board I actually liked to ride, painted over the graphic and took control of how I wanted to be represented in the industry. The scandalous “Wake Butt” felt like a slap in the face but it gave me direction which projected me onto a path to rewrite the women’s narrative in the sport and I wasn’t alone. This Anna you see here was pi**ed off and motivated.
