Over the weekend, Democrats in the Texas House walked out during the vote on Senate Bill 7. Their walkout blocked the passage of a bill that would create new voting restrictions—limiting early voting hours, restricting vote-by-mail, and curbing local voting options. Monica and a group of women in Texas have been fighting against these voting bills for months. She's hoping this move by Texas Democrats will encourage other legislators to not pass this bill. My little Sissie’s birthday is here again! It’s honestly my favorite day of the year. It’s the day my best friend was born. We’re not twins but couldn’t be closer.
