Shelter favorite long stay Apollo has finally taken his freedom photo! He’s been rescued by Lucky Penny Rox! Thank y’all so much!

Make your plans to secure pets this week. Fill medications, update microchips, and get those tags put on collars. We all know how unpredictable these things can be. Be prepared with your pets! Watch out for our stray and feral friends as well!

Tropical Depression Two has formed in the Gulf. It's expected to slowly move northwest, and then west as it accelerates. Current NHC forecast shows TD2 as a tropical storm within the next 24-48 hours. It's still very early, and the eventual path isn't set in stone, but if it does manage to come to Southeast Texas we would be looking at impacts on Thursday/Friday: abc13.com/tropicalupdate

Tony has arrived in New England to his forever home! Tony is amazing dog and this should be a prime example that there are some absolutely amazing dogs (especially pitties) stuck in shelters being overlooked and euthanized.

Tony should have been scooped up from the beginning but he waited nearly 2 years to get his forever home! We are so happy for him!
