Total Medulla
Before you script a single word, fill in this:
1.) “We help…” → Who do you serve?
2.) “So they can…” → What outcome do you enable?
3.) “Because…” → Why does it matter?
Example:
"We help nonprofits tell powerful stories so they can activate more donors — because real change starts with connection.
Nail this before you write, and the video practically scripts itself."
It's not your camera.
It’s not your editing.
It’s the story structure — or lack of it.
A high-converting brand video has 3 things:
1.) A clear tension (What’s the problem or challenge?)
2.) An emotional bridge (Why should we care?)
3.) A call-to-action that feels earned (Why now?)
When your video skips the story and jumps to the pitch, people scroll.
Don’t just make a video. Make a moment.
