Songwriting Exercise #7: Mixing Bowl - Whit Whitley | Singer-Songwriter | Creative Mentor 04/09/2026

Happy to say I'm on a 7-day streak! Today I wrote about a mixing bowl, which reminded me of my Grannie's buttermilk pancakes. I've been writing about her a lot. I really miss her!

Have you ever loved someone and still had to let them go? This song tells the story of two people who love each other but just couldn’t live it anymore. Too many ruptures and enough repair that put too much "in between" them.

Songwriting Exercise #3: Pepper - Whit Whitley | Singer-Songwriter | Creative Mentor | Founder God, I loved my first dog Sparkle! He broke my heart always escaping from the yard, and one day, he never came back home.
