ORALE

It started with a conversation. In 2014, there was a conversation l, and in that conversation it was revealed that when asked what she wanted for Christmas, one little girl asked for bath soap and rice. That is when we knew something had to be done. That year and in the years since, you the community has stepped up and provided these kids with a great experience. With your support we've been able to provide for over 1500 children. Let's keep the tradition going. We know things are difficult, but that also means they are that much more difficult for these children. When we look at the smiles, we know why we do this every year.

With less than a week to go before the event, I am closing out the list tonight! If you have been thinking about it, fill out the sponsor form by tonight so I can match you with a list of the needs and wishes of our newcomer students. We are so close to 100% of the kids being sponsored. We have a little over 30 students from Las Americas Newcomer School that still need a sponsor for our 2019 ORALE Holiday Hopes Christmas Party! The school educates recently arrived immigrant and refugee children from around the world! These are children between the ages of 9 and 15, all who have arrived to Houston within the last year, and their need is great.
