Automotive Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with manager regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed.
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical issues to customers.
- Own set of automotive tools required to perform the job effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred.
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Bilingual(English and Spanish) preferred.
