PRECINCT 5 IN ACTION: No Laughing Matter

Constable Terry Allbritton's Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 800 block of Country Place Drive after observing a fake license plate attached to a vehicle traveling on the public roadway. The driver admitted to putting a fake license plate on the vehicle to take pictures and never put back the real license plate which he had inside the vehicle but not displayed as required by state law.

The Harris County District Attorney's Office was consulted and charges for Display Fictitious License Plate were accepted on the driver. The defendant was transported to the Harris County Jail.
