Hey Fellow GCSW Alumni,

I think GCSW students have done their part in voicing their concerns and disagreement with the recent removal of Dean Detlaff so I think it is now our turn. I think the University of Houston is blowing hot air up our __________ with the reason for the removal and cares more about the status of the University than its ability to make changes for the disenfranchised and underrepresented in Houston, Texas, the U.S. and the world. I never thought that UH would succumb to the political climate in Texas and certain individuals that attempt to run this state and do not support the practice of social work.

Are Alumni Members interested in writing and signing a letter to the University of Houston about our disgust with what has happened? If you do not feel the same way that I do, I do not mean to offend and please disregard this email.
