Attended the SMPS Houston "Show me the Money" event at Kirksey yesterday where presenter Alayne Bomba Bryant shared the key elements of a Marketing/BD budget. Creating and monitoring these budgets provide empowerment in the freedom of knowing exactly where your efforts are targeted for the year, it keeps you strategically aligned with your companies long-term goals and give you the freedom to say no when unexpected expenses "pop-up".
