🚨The Hidden Time Bombs🚨

Pastor Christian from our church in Solomon Islands, told us about a recent incident that happened near the church in Honiara, where a bomb exploded right behind the church. It was a old bomb from the time of world war 2; a bomb that might have been there for over 80 years.

There are places in Papua New Guinea and in Solomon Islands where old war bombs still exist. They have been there for decades, buried in the ground, but if someone lights a fire nearby, boom! Everything explodes.

Now let's reason: what is going on inside of you? Could there be a bomb hidden inside, ready to explode at any moment? For example; A resentment that was never resolved or past hurts. Pride that is disguised as a “strong personality, etc...”?

You might even seem calm, smiling on the outside, but if someone contradicts you, reprimands you, or even asks you: “Are you okay?" Then the timer on the bomb starts ticking....Tick-tock, tick-tock...

Certain questions already bothers you, hurts you, makes you want to be silent or to react. This shows that there is still something inside of you that is unresolved.

God does not want explosive children. He wants hearts treated, healed and dominated by the Holy Spirit. If you have the Spirit of God, you do not live by feelings, you live by faith.

Just as the old bombs need to be removed before causing serious destruction, the Holy Spirit wants to remove the hidden bombs inside of you. The hurt, jealousy and resentment. All of this needs to be disarmed by faith.

There is no use confessing faith if at any given moment you might explode if the fire is ignited because of circumstances or provocations. This is a clear sign that there is still an active bomb inside of you.

2 Corinthians 13:5 says:
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you unless, of course, you fail the test?”

👉 If corrected, do you explode?
👉 If left aside, do you get hurt?

Then maybe it’s time to let the Holy Spirit enter and disarm what is hidden. The fire of God purifies, but hidden secrets creates explosions.🔥

"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." Matthew 15:19
