Hi guys!
Reflections of today's present moments.

There were so many things out of my control at the barn today. IE the very cold weather, the roaring/whizzing/terrifying of the 4 wheeler parked at the FARTHEST ENTRANCE in the barn, the pigeon that dropped and flew out over our heads and nearly killed us.
All of these things were life threatening to my horse. All joking aside. I was able to work with him, but he locked his legs and REFUSED to go into the barn. Petrified.
I found myself pulling him.
This,
is
never
a
good
thing.
I immediately was like, stop Michelle. Stop. Regroup.
How did I get here?
Not being present, trying to push my way through uncomfortable situations... AHhhhhh right! All those things are relics and no longer serve me.
So....we changed direction, eased up walked around the arena, saw more life threatening things (worked through those) and went into the barn when the predator/ violent 4 wheeler was moved.

What do you do when you run across a situation that frightens you to your very core?
