This past weekend we managed to get our hands on some incredible Davus sp. Panama, better known as the Lava Spider, and these tarantulas absolutely live up to the name.
The deep fiery reds contrasted against those dark black legs make them look like they crawled straight out of molten rock. They seriously give off “risen from the magma” vibes and are one of those species that instantly grabs your attention the second you see them.
