Cyntara Sanders has known for years there was so much she wanted to write about that would help awaken and heal the world. And right when she no longer cared what others thought. the opportunity to begin writing showed up. Writing about her childhood trauma has opened up the teacher within. She currently teaches Naturopathic Reiki and she looks forward to writing many more books and Master classes. She is a proud native Houstonian and mother of two adult children.

Koinonia I. Martin-Page first learned the power of sharing our stories from her mother during testimony service in the Black Church tradition. She credits that power with helping her to forge her path from her beginnings as a Head Start program student to being a first-generation college graduate of the Ivy League. She has gone on to use her skills to advocate and build community, as a licensed attorney, attorney-broker, philanthropist, and public servant. She most cherishes spending time with her three sons, Jesse, Zachary, and Jude, and her husband, Ben.

Delois is a professional hair cutter, who just retired from Southwest Airlines after twenty-five years of employment as a Customer Service Agent. She is a mother of four children and a grandmother of seven beautiful grandchildren. Her dream had always been to write a book about her life’s journey in order to help others, and this experience was a dream come true. She says, “when I was offered this opportunity, I am so glad I accepted it.”
