YES, YES, YES...I definitely vote YES!

President Trump announced that he backs a move to do away with twice-yearly clock changes and adopt daylight saving time permanently. Trump cited the cost and inconvenience, including municipalities having to rent heavy equipment twice a year to change clocks in towers. There are bills to do this in both the House and Senate with bipartisan sponsors.

However, now that Trump has endorsed a permanent time, we predict that Democrats will come out in opposition to the very concept of time itself. We look forward to their press conference at 44:85 p.m.

Memorial Day is far more than the beginning of summer or a long weekend with family and friends. It's a time to pause with gratitude and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could live in freedom, worship freely, raise our families in peace, and enjoy the many blessings of this great nation called the USA. Their courage, sacrifice, and love for America paved the way for the liberties we often take for granted each day. This weekend, may our hearts be filled with thankfulness, honor, prayer, and deep respect for every fallen hero and their families who carry their memory forward...and God bless the United States of America.

“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” — Romans 12:18

This Bible verse is often misunderstood. It does not mean remaining silent about lies, corruption, wickedness, abuse, or deception. It also does not mean sacrificing truth in order to avoid conflict. Scripture repeatedly shows righteous men and women speaking truth, exposing darkness, warning others, correcting error, and standing firmly for what is right.

Even Jesus openly confronted hypocrisy, corruption, and religious deception. The apostles warned believers about false teachers, false doctrines, and wolves in sheep’s clothing. Ephesians 5:11 even says to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Biblical peace is not pretending evil does not exist. True peace is rooted in truth, righteousness, wisdom, and a clean conscience before God.

There is, however, a major difference between exposing darkness with truth versus living in constant hatred, bitterness, fear, unforgiveness, obsession, rage, or hostility. Continually feeding the mind with anger, outrage, and emotional chaos can absolutely affect the body physically through chronic stress hormones, inflammation, nervous system overload, poor sleep, and emotional exhaustion. That is very different from calmly, wisely, and courageously speaking THE truth.

Some eastern philosophies and modern “positivity-only” teachings promote the idea that speaking about evil, danger, corruption, or wickedness somehow “lowers your vibration” or harms health simply by acknowledging it. Much of that teaching can drift into avoidance, denial, or emotional suppression rather than discernment and truth. Ignoring darkness does not remove it. Refusing to acknowledge deception does not protect people from it. Truth brings things into the light so people can make wise decisions.

Friends, the key is balance and spiritual discernment: speak truth without becoming consumed by hatred; expose lies without losing peace or attacking someone personally; stand firm without allowing fear and bitterness to take root in the heart. There is a tremendous difference between someone who calmly speaks truth out of love and conviction versus someone who lives in continual anger and turmoil. One brings clarity; the other slowly drains life and
health.
