Your order has been entered into the Ford Ordering System. It will then be scheduled and placed in the first available production week. Once scheduled, a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and estimated build date can be provided. Be sure to view the Vehicle Summary section and learn about the features on your vehicle

Got an email showing the truck buildout date set for 1/8/2024. The dealer also sent a copy of the window sticker. A little confuse, because I also received an email saying , due to a shortage on some parts, their will be a delay on the build.

Just spoke to JJ with Chastang Ford and he gave a Build Week of 1/15/2024. It normally take about 7 to 8 weeks to complete the build. Also got my Vin. Number which I need to setup insurance and complete my IFTA.

JJ with Ford just email me some images of what the flatbed will look like.

Decided to go with TruckLogics software to help monitor my expenses, billing, mileage, income and invoices, it also monitors my maintenance, equipment and drive time. I have signed up with DAT as my main Loadboard and currently talking to TAFS Factoring to be my Factoring company. It appears that TruckLogics software and DAT are connected or work together. I also created a spreadsheet pacifically for monitoring my accepted rates, miles and rates per mile, which will give a a clear picture on whether or not I am making money in comparison to fuel and ware on my vehicle.

Next I signed up with Prepass so I don't have to stop on toll bridges and Smarttruckroute2 software to help with directions and find fuel stations alone the way.

I need to sign up for my IFTA and insurance, but will have to wait on Ford to finish the truck before I can get a Vin number.

My goal is to start with a 40' trailer, which is the purpose of the CDL. There is a 6 week wait to allow the build out, since this to will be a 2024. Will oder the trailer as soon as Ford tells me the truck is on the way. Still the goal is to be on the by April 15.
