Years ago, when I first started my journey as an entrepreneur, I was going to networking events, shaking hands, smiling, pitching myself...
But nothing stuck.
No callbacks. No new clients. No growth.
I thought maybe I wasn’t interesting enough.
Or maybe I just wasn’t extroverted enough.
But I was wrong. It wasn’t me. It was my approach.
The moment I stopped “networking” and started building real connections — everything changed.
I stopped trying to impress people.
I started listening. Giving. Following up. Being consistent.
And most importantly… being human.
Now I get clients because I’m real — not because I’m polished.
