📣 Calling all undergrads! Applications for the Rowan Internship program are open from now until May 8th. The Rowan Foundation makes possible both Houston-based ($2,500 of funding) and out-of-town ($5,000) internships. Interns work with relevant publishing, marketing, and other writing-oriented businesses during the summer break.

Friday marked the first Gulf Coast reading series of the year, featuring three UHCWP student readers, Karen Zheng, Leah Fretwell, and Julia Guez (plus special guests Leisa Loan, KT Herr, and Maha Abdelwahab). PhD student Iqra Khan introduced visiting author Patrycja Humienik. It was a wonderful evening - congrats to everyone involved!
