“Listening to the Lights” — This watercolor, painted in January 2026, was created for an upcoming magazine feature where I’ll be sharing the full step-by-step process behind it. Stay tuned 😉
This piece is all about texture. The entire scene is packed with details, from the colorful knitted to the intricate white lace dress. Layering the lacy shadows over all those textures was a true test of patience. 😅
This piece also marks a big “first” for me: painting a hand in motion. In a piece this busy, I wanted to capture a quiet, dynamic moment. I hope you can spot the movement amidst all the visual information!

Saturday morning, 3 quiet hours.✨ This small watercolor came to life yesterday. There’s something magical about painting skin tones in watercolor… the softness, the transparency, the way every layer has to be intentionally applied to create this light and shadow effect.

Created in just 3 hours, guided by instinct, patience, and a love for light.

I love small paintings. Do you like them too? 🥰

Not Quite Listening- watercolor on aquabord 24x24 inches. 2026.
This piece was created for a beautiful friend who trusted me to paint her children. 🤍 🤍
Watching their expressions when they saw the final piece was priceless. That moment alone makes everything worth it and inspires me to continue.
Grateful to turn meaningful memories into timeless art. ✨
