Handsome Bear has arrived in Iowa with his new family and is already enjoying the wonderful life he deserves.

His story could have ended so differently. We took in Bear and his sister, Banana, who is still available for adoption, after our volunteers found them being given away out of the back of a truck in Houston.

Thankfully, amazing fosters stepped up to give them safe temporary homes while we searched for the perfect adoption matches.

Bear got very lucky when his new family spotted him and instantly fell in love. He was safely delivered to Iowa on last weekend’s transport, and now he is soaking up all the love and attention he has always wanted.

We celebrate every adoption because it means everything to see once-abandoned pets finally living the lives they deserve.🎉🎉🎉
