What makes an espresso unforgettable? ☕️

This past Saturday at Barbarossa HQ, we gathered coffee lovers, home baristas, and future espresso masters for an immersive Espresso Masterclass focused on the true science and art behind specialty coffee.

Together, we explored:
• how to pull the perfect espresso shot
• the difference between good coffee and exceptional coffee
• espresso extraction and why it changes flavor
• dialing in grinders and espresso recipes
• milk steaming & espresso-based drinks
• tasting notes, balance, crema, body, and sweetness
• and the small details that transform coffee into an experience

More than anything, it was a few unforgettable hours filled with learning, passion, laughter, and people who genuinely love coffee culture. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching someone taste a properly extracted espresso and suddenly understand coffee on a deeper level.
