On Veterans Day, I am reminded of the rich military heritage woven into the fabric of my family history. Both of my parents proudly wore the Army uniform, and the valor of service runs deep with an aunt and uncle who also served with distinction. Our family's story is entwined with the disciplined rhythms of life on an army base, echoing a legacy of dedication and sacrifice.

Though my journey took a different route, the principles learned from that environment—courage, integrity, and commitment—resonate in my life's work. The memories of my childhood, set against the backdrop of the base's camaraderie and the shared purpose of the service community, are a constant reminder of the profound impact our veterans have on individual lives and the world at large.

Today, I extend my deepest gratitude to all veterans from my family and beyond for their unwavering service. Your selflessness creates the foundation of peace and freedom we often take for granted. Happy Veterans Day to our heroes in uniform—Thank you for your service, sacrifices, and safeguarding our future.
