***These dogs are not in our care or custody yet we are only accepting foster applications at this time***

We do not take applications for dogs we do not have.
Any number of things could happen that would prevent these dogs from coming into our program.

It would be unethical for us to take applications on these dogs at this time. This is why we are asking for a foster home.

If you're interested in adopting you may apply to adopt any of the dogs already in our program. We are not taking applications on these dogs we don't know anything about them yet. We can't possibly decide who would be the best fit for these dogs.

Next up.... Young adults. Believed to be a 'bonded pair' 1M 1F. 2 yr old. Not from the same litter, but raised together.
We don't have them yet.... so... GET YOUR FOSTER APPS IN!!
These dogs are pampered, and used to living in style.

They appear to be perfect!
they are housetrained, and sleep in a bed. They have never been kenneled

With broken hearts, we have to share the news we prayed we would never have to write.

Sweet Phoenix has earned his wings.

When we rescued him, we knew he was in critical condition. We knew he was severely starved, dehydrated, and fighting for his life. We held onto hope that, with intensive medical care, love, and time, he would somehow pull through.

Today, Phoenix took a turn for the worse and was rushed to BluePearl Emergency Hospital. After extensive evaluation, the doctors determined that his tiny body had simply endured too much. The effects of prolonged starvation and neglect had caused irreversible damage, and despite everyone's best efforts, he was not going to recover.

The kindest, most compassionate gift we could give him was to let him go peacefully.

Chris stayed by Phoenix's side at BluePearl, holding him, talking to him, and loving him as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was not alone. He left this world wrapped in kindness, surrounded by people who loved him, even if only for a short time.

That is the cruel reality of rescue. Sometimes we don't get the miracle we pray for. Sometimes, all we can do is make sure an animal's final moments are filled with dignity, comfort, and love instead of fear and suffering.

We are devastated. Our hearts ache for the life Phoenix should have had. He deserved full bowls, soft beds, sunny afternoons, toys, belly rubs, and a family that would love him for years. Instead, all we could give him was the promise that he would never be hungry, neglected, or alone again.

Though our time together was far too short, Phoenix mattered. His life mattered. He was loved. He was cherished. And he will never be forgotten.

Run free now, sweet Phoenix.

No more hunger. No more pain. No more suffering.

Fly high, little warrior. We will carry you in our hearts forever. 🌈🐾❤️

**The photo above was taken BEFORE Phoenix was transported to BluePearl. He was alive when this photo was taken. We would never share a photo of him after he passed.**
