June is National PTSD Awareness Month, and this is something near and dear to our hearts at The DBT Center Training Institute. Unfortunately, many people who suffer with PTSD cannot access or afford treatment, and additionally, many therapists are not adequately trained in providing treatment for this disorder. That's why we ensure that all of our student-therapists receive extensive training in evidence-based treatments for trauma so that they may provide life-changing PTSD treatment on a pro-bono basis.
