Resurrection Sunday and thereafter to the rest of our days. Never forget the nails. That should have been us. He took our place.
Despised. Rejected. Carried a cross. Stripped. Platted a crown of thorns on his head. Mocked. Smote him on the head with a reed. Borne our griefs. Bruised for our iniquities. Whipped with a cat-o-nine tails. Pierced in the side. Wounded for our transgressions. Nailed hands and feet to a cross. Died, was buried and resurrected.

All this...for us? Yes. Jesus did all this with you and I on his mind. He loved us this much. He took our place. On your ‘worst’ day, because Christ is living in you, you are always at your best. You have salvation, you are forgiven. You have eternal life.
