What is a Supertotal? Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting combined — sn**ch, clean & jerk, squat, bench, and deadlift, all in one meet! Rules are hybridized; lifting order is ascending (like weightlifting) rather that round robin (like powerlifting); no weight classes; scoring is Sinclair + Wilks.
This meet is for fun: last year we had a healthy mix of weightlifters, powerlifters, crossfitters, and hybrids. The length of the meet, which was a concern going in, was fairly short: 7am weigh in, 9am start time, 2:30pm finished. All lifters, all 5 lifts, 3 attempts each. This year looks to be even bigger and more competitive!
