Fear will imprison you if you let it. Remember, fear is ALWAYS about the future…something we have never known since we’ve been on the planet. So whatever you are thinking about that’s causing fear, you are making up that outcome in your head.

But even if you feel the fear is legitimate, when you abide in Christ, fear won’t be your counselor.

The older I get the more understand the mentally healthy decision to trust God more than anything else, including but not limited to: what you see, what you feel, what you think, what others think, what others believe, your heart break, the sunken place you frequent, whatever you smoke, the person making you feel good TODAY.

Trust God! He has never lost a battle.

I’m glad there’s a day set aside to remember, recognize and appreciate fathers. But the reality is that most of what we men do for the good of our families we do in obscurity. That’s not a bad thing, that’s just how it is.

Receive the love today. But regardless of what they do or say, you are a man…God did that. Do what you do because you are HIM, and not to impress THEM…are you will hurt yourself.
