Mattel has filed a lawsuit against Rap Snack for its Nicki Minaj-themed Barbie-Que Honey Truffle potato chips.
As we all know, Nicki Minaj refers to herself as Barbie, and her fans are called The Barbz. Through a collaboration with Rap Snack, they launched the snack in June.
The toy company, Mattel, is asking the court to order Rap Snacks to stop using its trademark and to award it monetary damages. Minaj is not named in the lawsuit.
