A growing machine shop in the League City area is hiring for a CNC Programmer to join their manufacturing team on a contract-to-hire basis. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to produce precision parts efficiently, safely, and to customer specifications. This role works closely with machinists, engineering, and quality to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years experience in writing and editing programs for fast paced machining environments and be diligent in reviewing programs after runs to ensure cycle times, edits, offsets, tooling, etc. is operating per program.

Experience Needed:
☑ - CNC Programming experience in a program such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, GibbsCAM, etc.
☑ - Highly proficient in G & M codes
☑ - Able to read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings or shop drawings
☑ - Strong understanding of GD&T
☑ - Be willing and able to mentor machinists on new programs and assist in working through programming issues.

Position Details:
💲 - $30-35/hr
🕖 - 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday
🎓 - High School Diploma or GED required, Trade school or programming certifications a huge plus
☑ - Climate controlled machine shop environment
☑ - Office position with work in the shop as needed or required to troubleshoot or prove up programs
