Today offered a wonderful glimpse into the Thai Forest Tradition. Our morning began at Wat Aranyawiwek, a peaceful forest monastery, where we listened to a Dharma talk before sharing breakfast with the lay & monastic community.

We then visited Wat Pa Dara Phirom, the royal temple of Thailand’s Forest Tradition, founded by the renowned meditation master Ajahn Mun Bhuridatto. The temple remains an important center for the lineage, blending the simplicity of forest monasticism with the elegance of traditional Lanna architecture.

We concluded the day at Wat Santhitham, exploring its fascinating museum of Buddhist relics before joining the monks for evening chanting—a peaceful way to end another day immersed in Thailand’s living Buddhist tradition.
