This was my favorite find of the day asked all the ladies in the the thrift store what it was and we came up with a hairy leg with a pimple lol hope ya all love it as much as I do

I’ve been collecting vintage jewelry from thrift stores for over a year to make this. Finally had to break down and buy buttons from hobby lobby to fill in this 28 inch cone I covered in black velvet. Nothing is glued on bc I wanted to be able to remove them to wear. I’ll continue to collect and really fill this in so next year it will be completely covered. There’s a reason these things cost $900 online, there’s over 250 brooches, earrings, crystals, hair clips, pendants and crystal ribbon on this monster.

Wondering if anyone has seasoning suggestions for the salmon portion here. The stuffing is great, but the salmon is a little blah with just salt and pepper.

I was doing my usual treasure hunt at Aldi — you know, casually browsing the aisles like a budget-savvy pirate looking for plunder — when I spotted a box of hard seltzers in the most tempting flavor imaginable: White Peach Strawberry. I mean, come on. That sounds like it should be served in a chilled glass on a fancy patio with string lights and good gossip.
We’re big Aldi fans in this house. I sing their praises often. We literally go out of our way to shop there for certain staples because their stuff is that good.
But, friends, please listen to me when I say this:
DO NOT — and I cannot stress this enough — DO NOT buy these “craft” hard seltzers.
I don’t know what’s in the can, but it is not white peach. It is not strawberry. It is not summer in a glass. It’s… confusion, sadness, and regret in fizzy form.
Aldi, I love you. But these are a crime against fruit.. and alcohol 😂😂😂
