There is something deeply satisfying about creating your own mala. Touching each separate piece as you design the flow of beads, choosing the color of thread to string them all together, the accent beads, perhaps a charm with a symbol that holds a special meaning for you. And the Guru bead that not only physically holds the mala together, but also symbolically holds space for your deepest insights and discoveries about yourself and the world you live in.

Then, one by one, you begin feeding the thread through the hole in each bead, securing it in place with a knot. As each knot is tied, your unique imprint is woven into the mala. Whether you choose to focus on a specific intention you want it to support, repeat a mantra that is significant for you, or simply breathe the breath of your essence into each knot, your mala made by your hands will be a truly sacred creation infused with the magic of your soul.

Join me on April 30th from 10am-2pm in Holly, MI. I’ll walk you through the process of creating your mala, step by step, and you’ll get to leave with your completed piece ready to wear and use in your mindfulness practice, whatever that looks like for you. The link to sign up is in my bio, deadline to register is April 22. DM me with any questions you have about gemstone choices or anything else. I’m always happy to chat about malas! Hope to see you there!

✨️ Come join me for a last-minute MALA WORKSHOP AT THE FARM while the weather still permits some outdoor bliss! ✨️

Malas have been used for thousands of years as an aid in meditation to keep count of mantra. They can also be a great tool for setting intentions, supporting daily mindfulness, and incorporating the healing energy of gemstones into your life.

We'll be soaking up those last rays of Summer as the season shifts into Fall. The workshop will be held at the beautiful Pinefield Farm in Highland, MI, one of my favorite places to visit for the incredible ambiance and the company of . The plan is to be as outside as possible, but we have the option of taking shelter in the barn if necessary. So, rain or shine, we will be crafting some beautiful malas together!

We will learn a little about the significance of a mala, how to use one to enhance your mindfulness and/or meditation practice, and then each participant will get to create their own special mala to use or gift to a loved one. You'll be creating a full 108-bead mala during the workshop, but we'll also have plenty of time to chat, get to know each other, enjoy some snacks and tea (provided by hosts) and learn something new together. No experience necessary, just bring a willingness to learn and a little patience.

There are 12 different types of gemstones available to choose from, I'll post the options in my stories as well as in my highlights. The total cost of this workshop will be $150, which includes the cost of all the materials you'll need to create your mala. You can pay through Venmo or I can email you an invoice that can be paid online.

To sign up, please DM me with your gemstone preference (or your thoughts if you're undecided), and you can reach me via text at 954-644-9117 with any questions. I'm really excited to share this event with you, but space is limited, so please respond by 9/16 to ensure there will be enough of your preferred gemstone available.

I can't wait to see you at the farm!
