Dash Two Decals

Today was a blast!
Had a great time at Model Con 419 today.
Managed to get best aircraft and people's choice with the 1/32 Growler. What an honor!

3 sheets sent off to the printers!

48-002 "Line Jet Lethality" will be a low vis growler sheet.
This sheet will have the same jets as 32-002 with an added VAQ-137 Rooks jet and VAQ-142Grey Wolves CAG jet. Will include stencils and markings for 3 jets.
32-002, 48-001, 48-002 are all close to being wrapped up and being sent to the printers.

Working on profiles :D
Hoping to source information/photos for one or two jets to confirm decals, and then 48-001 and 32-002 will be placed in the "ready for the printer" folder!

Crossing my fingers I have enough space for stencils....😳
Those variations on the intake warnings take up a ton of space!
48-001 "Last on the Line S-3B Vikings"
5 low-vis jets from 2005-retirement.
A bit more artwork to go!
Big picture update: 48-002 is also the beginning stages, once they are all complete I'll send 32-002 Low Viz Growlers, 48-001 Last on the Line S-3B Vikings, and 48-002 to the printers!

In need of some help for the upcoming low vis 1/48 viking sheet. On their 2005 cruise VS-33 had this circular logo on their tails. Can anyone shed light on it, or have a photo of it? Looks like a samurai with a blade to me? Not sure what the inside top lettering is.
Years ago superscale printed a VS-33 CAG jet sheet for the same cruise, and they have it being the U.S. Marines emblem, but that clearly is not the case!

What option would you prefer:
1. Send the sheet to the printer without a starboard gear door name for "Shadow Wizard". I would make a note on the instruction sheet that there was a name, but at the time of printing reference photos were not available.
2. Hold out at until a photo can be sourced. 1 month 6 months, you don't care, you want a complete sheet.
3. Remove Shadow Wizard from the sheet and send it to the printer!
I'm Keeping my eyes peeled on DVIDs for images of Magic 505 and the starboard gear door. Considering the current situation of CVN-72, I don't expect to hear back from the squadron anytime soon. However, DVIDs seems to be releasing new photos everyday so there is a chance I'll get lucky (?)
Also, I removed Zapper 501 from the sheet. There just wasn't enough room for them all as I've been working on spacing. With 3 VAQ-130 jet's one had to be nixed. I think including 502 "Lady Bird" still pays tribute to ZAPPER 12.
stencils and markings will be included for two complete aircraft.
VAQ-130 "501" with a Hind kill
VAQ-130 "504 "Lady Bird" ZAPPER 12 tribute
VAQ-141 "507"
VAQ-133 Wizards "506"
VAQ-133 Wizards "505" "Shadow Wizard"
VAQ-144 503 "Intimidator" with kill markings

Is anyone aware of other starboard side shots of VAQ-133 505 "Shadow Wizard" currently on cruise?
Can anyone ready blurry text better than me?
Maybe someone have a contact within VAQ-133?
The only thing preventing me from adding this jet is the sailor name on the starboard gear door. A head on shot of the "Shadow Wizard" nose art would be nice, but I should be ok with the photos I have.

most (!) of the artwork drawn. Just waiting on some references for "Shadow Wizard" so I can finish artwork on that particular jet.
Next step for me is to size every decal. This is when I become best friends with my digital calipers and an unbuilt kit! :D
