Learn to Do Hard Things: Kori Mackall & The Piedmont School - High Point Discovered 05/28/2026

School is a place where students learn, and at The Piedmont School, it's also a place where students learn to believe in themselves! 🏫

Kori Mackall, Head of School for The Piedmont School , never had a single "aha" moment that made her want to work in education β€” it was just always part of who she was. And when she discovered The Piedmont School & John Yowell Academy, she discovered a place that shared her passion for seeing students with different learning styles given the support and resources needed to reach their full potential! ⭐

With a 6:1 student-teacher ratio, teachers who uncover each student's learning style, and a community built around students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences β€” this High Point school is giving families something they didn't always know was possible: hope.
Kids who once thought college wasn't in the cards are getting early acceptance letters. Students who struggled to find their voice are landing internships and apprenticeships. And a campus expansion that just broke ground in May is only the beginning!
