Celebrating the productive partnerships between Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies and business partners! At Meeting number Day 5, we highlighted the strategies being used to build careers, retain employees, and create inclusive workplaces. Through our work with business partners at the national, state, and local levels, we are driving career opportunities for individuals with disabilities and supporting the growth and retention of America's workforce. As the VR-NET and Talent Acquisition Portal continue to expand, we remain committed to creating a talent pipeline that supports diversity, equity, and accessibility. Excited to continue this work and meet with USIDHR in Washington DC.

Meeting number 4 is underway and today promises to be a full session. We have Congressional staff from the 118 Congress speaking about the Entrepreneur Services Grant, which aims to help people with disabilities start their own businesses. Additionally, we'll be hearing about what the Hill is doing to promote disability in the workplace and paying higher wages, more than minimum wages. Today's event will also feature Virginia Fox (R-NC) as a speaker. After lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions. It's sure to be a day packed with valuable information and insights.
