This morning I almost skipped Bible study.
That’s how busy the devil was.
As soon as I walked in, the pastor said, “Turn to Galatians 6:9.” Before I even opened my Bible, my spirit and nervous system were already calming down. The enemy really thought he had a plot to keep me from going to bible study after I made a commitment to be consistent in my walk with God.
Then I read it aloud:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the PROPER TIME we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Whew.
When I say the devil be at my neck… I mean that. They say he’ll use what you love to try to get to you — and he tried it.
But I’ve worked too hard to throw in the towel.
Immediately after Bible study this morning, I received a call from someone needing a place to rent. Not just anyone — a veteran and senior. Exactly the audience God placed on my heart to serve in my apartments.
And here’s the part that made me smile…
The tenant had a long drive to arrive to Meridian. While the tenant was driving, I spent my day worshipping. It’s almost 9 PM, and I just finished moving in my very first tenant at MY apartment complex that everyone once moved out of when they found out I was the new owner.
Tell me God ain’t strategic.🙏🏽🙌🏾
The same property that looked empty now has purpose.
If you don’t give up… the harvest comes.
Living in a small town can sometimes make you feel boxed in—like you don’t quite fit. When you’re focused on building generational wealth, it’s hard to relate when everyone else is living for partying, shopping, and splurging on liabilities instead of investing in assets.That’s why every month—or at least every other month—I get the f**k out of Dodge. My last reset vacation of year; I flew to Detroit, and it was everything I needed. After curb appeal and demo, I focus on the bones of the house—roof, electrical, and plumbing. Once the systems are solid, THEN I polish it up. The walls were already painted—I just added fixtures, sanded and coated the hardwood floors. Build it right first. Pretty comes last.Went from 3 to 5 bedrooms, 1 to 2 full bathrooms, and $800 → $1,400/month 💪🏾
