Snapshots from today’s electives and rec hour. Campers had the option to attend a conducting masterclass, Brazilian drumming lesson, improv and jam with The Savage Hearts Folk Band, and get up and move in Stretching and Movement.

Day 1 of the JMU Strings Camp is off to a fantastic start! The excitement and anticipation in the air during check in, auditions, and the parent/ camper orientation was palpable. The students are now off to rehearse with their ensembles for the first time. 🎉
ONLY ONE MORE DAY until JMU String Camp 2026! Our camp counselors have been hard at work preparing to make this the best camp ever, and they are ready to welcome all of our campers! See you tomorrow!
