With this new year comes a new chapter of life…

Katharine Payne, Family Nurse Practitioner.

Tomorrow marks the start of my masters program. I’ve been going back and forth about beginning this journey, and I finally decided to rip the bandaid off.

So why would I choose to put myself through two years of misery while juggling being a mom, wife, collaborator, business owner and full time injector?

Because I won’t stop. Won’t stop growing. Won’t stop learning. Won’t stop pushing to be the best version of myself. I want to see what I’m fully capable of, and I know my mom would have wanted that for me, too.

With this degree I’ll not only be able to be my own medical director but oversee other injectors as well. It gives me full autonomy and allows me the freedom to venture across the nation.

But this chapter won’t come without sacrifices, that I know. It probably couldn’t be worse timing actually. But I know it’s necessary and will be worth it in the end. I like to believe that ultimately it will set a good example for my children and allow for my family to have long term stability, and that’s reason enough for me.

So here’s to 2024 - May you know your worth.

I love injecting booties so much - it’s probably one of the most fun and laid back procedures I do (believe it or not!).

The instant results. the ease of injection, and the delight in being able to watch my clients insecurities melt before their eyes is so rewarding.

The human body is the best work of art, and I feel privileged to be able to have a hand in shaping it.
