Building a Solid Church Together:
Key Text: Matthew 16:18
*I will build my church.*
So in this text, Jesus Christ made a profound promise as the Sovereign architect, owner of His Church. This reveals that, the Church is a Divine institution, which is destined to endure eternally despite any opposition.
So I want us to understand that, Jesus Christ is the owner of His church, the owner of this church, and not me, nor would it be anyone that will come after me. God can ask me to leave and go start a branch in a different place, and the church must still be fully functional.
*ALLOW GOD TO USE YOU TO BUILD.*
When a house is being constructed, different raw materials are needed; from construction tools, blocks, water, stones, rocks, etc.
In the same way, you and I are the raw materials Christ is using to build His church.
Christ said: I WILL BUILD, but literally, he was building with His leaders, workers, church members, etc.
~You are a major raw material to be used by God to build His church.
