Hey y’all! My name is Anna, I’m 40, an AuDHD chaos goblin, mom, gardener, activist, and Halloween enthusiast! The best spooky fun fact about me is that in 2012 I called off my October 27th wedding and went out with friends for Halloween dressed as a zombie bride instead 🧟‍♀️ I have painted this costume before (image 5) as it was the first BIG step I ever took toward living unapologetically as myself, and have taken several opportunities to zombie myself since— at an “end of the world” party December 2012 (image 4), with my kid as zombie princesses Halloween 2015 (not shown), for a fall festival in 2022 (image 3), and in my drawlloween intro 2 years ago (image 6) but if I’m REALLY honest, zombies —especially fast zombies— really unglue me! 🫢 Despite being an avid horror movie fan since childhood, it took me until 2023 to even watch The Walking Dead! 🤫

generally aligns with the vast majority of my values and political opinions; but as a millennial feminist who has a lot of trouble relating to the first-wave icons who struggle with intersectionality and TERFy nonsense; I deeply appreciated this femme-power one-liner! 💪🏻

Next up: an icon who hardly needs introduction, entertainer-turned-political leader and wartime president… but who actually does his job! [ ] Volodymyr Zelenskyy stands in lock step with his troops against the overwhelming threat of Russian fascism and says things like “when you attack us you will see our faces, not our backs.” Like a damned BOSS! 💪🏻
