Meet Gizmo! 🩵

Age: 2 years
Weight: 24 lbs

Gizmo is an absolutely lovable little potato who is ready to find his forever home! This sweet boy is full of personality—funny, playful, and completely devoted to snuggling up next to you on the couch.

He loves playing with his toys and enjoys his beauty sleep, perfectly embodying the relaxed charm of a typical French Bulldog. Gizmo is very sweet and genuinely happy to meet new faces, making him a delightful companion for visitors.

Gizmo is doing well with house-training, having only had a couple of accidents as he adjusts to his new surroundings. Keeping him on a schedule in this new environment will be helpful. He is also crate-trained but appreciates frequent outdoor breaks to explore.

As Gizmo is deaf, his foster mom has been using hand signals to communicate with him. He has undergone a total ear ablation due to severe infections, along with nare and soft palate surgery. While he is still a loud breather and, like a typical Bulldog, intolerant to heat, air conditioning is a must for him. Due to nerve damage in his ears, Gizmo is unable to blink on his own and requires daily eye drops. As he continues to heal, there’s a possibility he may regain the ability to blink, but it’s uncertain. He is also on a journey to lose a few pounds to become the healthiest version of himself!

Gizmo has seamlessly integrated with the three dogs in his foster home, acting as if he’s always been part of the family. He’s also shown friendly curiosity toward the resident cats.

True to his breed, Gizmo has short bursts of playful energy followed by cozy naps, perfectly balancing playtime with relaxation!

The ideal home for Gizmo would be with someone who has knowledge and experience with the French Bulldog breed. He would thrive in a household with other pets or even as the only dog, provided he has companionship.

Despite overcoming his health challenges, Gizmo remains the happiest, most loving little dog. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate companion who brings laughter and love into your life, Gizmo is the one for you! Are you ready to welcome this sweet little potato into your heart and home?

Meet Harper! 🩷

Age: 8 months
Weight: 15 pounds

Harper is the sweetest, kindest girl you’ll ever meet, with a heart full of love and no mean bone in her body. Though she can be a bit skittish and afraid at first, once she warms up to you, her true personality shines through.

Once she feels comfortable, this playful pup loves to engage with her surroundings! Harper enjoys playing with toys, going for walks, and spending time outdoors. However, her favorite pastime is cuddling up close and getting her belly rubbed—there’s nothing she loves more than being near her humans.

Harper can be timid around new people. If she doesn’t know you, she may run and hide, but with a little patience and time, she will eventually come around and warm up to you.

In terms of training, Harper is mostly house trained, though she has had a few accidents along the way. She is crate trained but needs a little help getting into her crate, as she doesn’t willingly go in when asked. She knows her name and responds well when called, especially with "Harper, come!"

Currently, Harper does not live with other pets, but her Texas foster reported that she got along well with their dogs.

With high energy and a love for play, especially outdoors, Harper also knows how to calm down and enjoy some cuddle time. She would thrive in a home with or without another dog. It’s been wonderful to see her become more independent and confident on her own, but she would also appreciate the companionship of another dog.

It’s important to note that Harper can be frightened by unfamiliar people and loud noises, which may cause her to run and hide. Providing her with a calm and quiet environment will help her feel more at ease.

Meet Smokey! 🩵

Smokey is a sweet and loving pup with a personality that truly shines. At just one year old and weighing 12 pounds, he is smart, alert, and full of energy, making him the perfect companion for an active household.

This little adventurer absolutely loves the outdoors! Whether he’s playing fetch, chewing on a favorite bone, or romping around with his foster brother, Smokey is always up for fun. He enjoys long walks and has a special fascination with birds, often trying to chase them as they flutter by. After a day packed with play, he loves nothing more than to snuggle up with you in the evening for some quiet downtime.

Smokey is excited to meet new people and greets them with enthusiasm—he’ll happily stand on your legs for kisses and attention! His friendly demeanor means he loves everyone he encounters.

While he’s still working on house training, a consistent potty schedule will help him along the way. Smokey is crate trained and does wonderfully in his kennel overnight, remaining quiet and comfortable.

As a smart pup, he would greatly benefit from continued obedience training. He already knows "kennel up" and is currently learning "sit" and "stay."

Smokey gets along wonderfully with other pets, enjoying playtime, walks, and relaxation with them in the evenings. Like any typical Schnauzer, he has high energy and will thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful spirit.

He would do best with a family that understands the Schnauzer breed and is equipped to meet his grooming needs and provide both physical and mental stimulation. Due to his energetic nature, Smokey is not recommended for first-time dog owners, and his vocal tendencies make him less suitable for apartment living.

While his enthusiastic barking when spotting movement outside might need some management, it can be addressed with the right approach.
