Join us for the Veterans Coffee Social on Tuesday, July 21st, 8:30 am, at the Great Falls Senior Center (upstairs). Our guest speaker this month is a Veteran Service Officer (VSO) from the Montana Veterans Affairs Division. She will update us on veteran benefits, and answer questions. You don’t need to go to a claim shark…have a VSO file your claim for benefits for FREE.

The Chapter again assisted American Legion Post 3, our sponsoring post, in putting flags up on Central Avenue in Great Falls today, then taking them down at the end of the day. The post has been doing it on patriotic holidays for the past 72 years, and have been needing the help. It is an honor to make sure this tradition is carried on.

Today our American Legion Riders chapter stepped up to help our sponsoring post, American Legion Post 3 in Great Falls. The post has been putting up flags on Central Avenue for patriotic holidays since 1954, and has needed help the last few years. Up at 6:45 am and back down at 3:45 pm. So glad to have our new ALR chapter be able to help. Pictures from our ALR members.

Veterans Coffee Social tomorrow morning (Tuesday, May 19th) at the Great Falls Senior Center (upstairs). This month's speaker will discuss legislation for veterans at the federal and state levels currently being considered or are in the pipeline. An update on veteran affairs in the state will also be discussed! See you there at 8:30 am!

Montana American Legion Riders chapters included Golden Triangle (Great Falls area), Lewistown (the lead chapter handling this), Havre, Billings Heights, Livingston, Gallatin Valley (Belgrade/Bozeman area), and MT Department ALR leadership. Thank you to American Legion Post 25 in White Sulphur Springs for filling our fuel tanks and offering a warm drink.
