★★★★★ New Review for Estey Electric by Kashe "Showed up on short notice finished taken off panels"

You’ve probably heard lots of different things about the shift to Net Metering 3.0 and how the utility company is going to drastically reduce what they pay new solar customers for exported electricity.
Despite how this may sound, the purpose of this change is NOT to damage the solar industry.
The goal is to encourage homeowners with solar to begin storing and using the power they generated. This means the inclusion of energy storage systems on every solar installation.
This is the same template for Net Metering that they’ve been using in most other states for a while now.
We’re excited to show you the latest generation of solar systems that have been designed for NEM3:
+ 95% electrical offsets
+ Maximized energy independence
+ The ability to function as normal during a power outage
It all adds up to a winning combination! Call us any time for a consultation.
As you may have heard, the sun is setting on the current export rates for solar customers in California. In April 2023, new customers will get paid 75% less for the solar that is exported to the utility grid.
Customers who have installation agreements scheduled before the the cutoff will be "grandfathered" in to the current export rates, even if the actual installation doesn't occur until after the cutoff. Existing customers export rates will not be subject to change.
If you've been on the fence about going solar, now is the best time to move forward!
