I didn’t realize it at the time, but this trip gave shape to something I had always been drawn to.
Whitewashed walls.
Weathered stone.
Sunlight on textured surfaces.
Beauty that felt effortless rather than excessive.
Looking through these photos now, I can see the same thread running through the spaces I create and the work I do.
The natural materials and quiet details that found their way into my studio.
The soft, lived-in beauty I’m always drawn to in hair.
