Did you know the tool that gives you those streak-free windows has its roots in the deep sea?
Before it was a household staple, the squeegee (or "squilgee") was a heavy, wooden tool used by 19th-century fishermen to scrape fish guts and scales off boat decks! 🐟⚓️
It wasn't until 1936 that the modern version we know and love was born. Ettore Steccone, an Italian immigrant and window cleaner, patented the lightweight, brass squeegee with that perfect rubber blade.
Fun Fact: His design was so good that it’s barely changed in nearly 90 years. Talk about getting it right the first time!

We had the pleasure of cleaning the windows at the LaGrange County Library today. Even though the weather wasnt the greatest we still had the chance to get it done for them.

They were pretty dirty and we had to take 0000 steel wool to every window. Pretty close to 200 windows in total.

Today we completed our first client job for Burns Tool Rental.
Our team handled exterior and interior window cleaning, including a thorough frame cleaning. The frames were especially dirty, but as you can see from the before-and-after photos, the results speak for themselves — a huge improvement!
