I stumbled across this photo recently and instantly got emotional. 🥹
This was my mom’s cosmetology graduation years ago… and looking back, it made me realize hair was never “random” for me. It was around me long before Pure ICEE Beauty ever existed.

A lot of people only know pieces of you from the internet, old stories, relationships, or assumptions. But one thing I’ve learned is:
access creates assumptions, and oversharing invites projection.

The truth is, people rarely know your real life unless you allow them into it. Once people actually enter my world, meet my family, sit in my chair, and experience the environment I’ve built, the illusion usually breaks. 💭

I come from love. I come from hard work. I come from women who created, built, and carried themselves with strength and beauty. And I think this photo explains so much about me without me even having to say much at all.

This journey means more to me than just hairstyles. 🤍
It’s legacy, creativity, family, growth, and building something of my own from the foundation I was raised around.
