With that, here is a sneak peek of our logo for the F1 in Schools - World Finals. We have decided to incorporate the traditional Red, White, and Blue so that we can represent not only the United States and Texas, but also the Total Equipment colors. We cannot wait to represent this great nation amongst our fellow competitors in Abu Dhabi.

Affinity F1 won second place at the F1 in Schools national competition on Saturday at the Michigan International Speedway outside Detroit. The GHS team - which advances to the world finals in October to be held in Abu Dhabi - is composed of Chloe Scroggins, project manager; Ian McMasters, manufacturing engineer; Christina Hager, resource manager; Tyler Johnson, graphic designer; and Hayden Coppenbarger and Tommy Wallace, design engineers. Other students assisting the team are Cade Timmons and Daniel Valdez. The sponsor is Todd Gibson.

The Granbury High School F1 in Schools team is presenting at the Society of Automotive Engineers student night at the University of Texas at Arlington. The GHS team is the only high school group invited to participate.
