Trillium Trail Homestead

So many eggs..

Man! What a night. My dog woke me up at 130am last night. Raccoons were attacking the chickens and reaching into the coop under the chicken wire. They got one chick before I came out. I shined a light in the trees near the coop and saw 4 sets of eyes glowing back at me. I ran in and got the boys and with scouts help my husband and sons dispatched (pellet gun) 4 full sized raccoons! I honestly like raccoons but they picked the wrong coop. Pictures in comments if you care to see.

We have atleast 3 dozen eggs available!
