is at the peak of his climbing career when he is blind-sided by his father’s severe stroke. Torn between two realities, at home in San Francisco taking care of his dad and the pressure of being a professional athlete, he eventually has to break open emotionally to rise to the challenge in this masculine and vulnerable father-son story.

I am so excited to share this movie about a remarkable climber, his life pushing his limits on rock, and his internal struggle as a caretaker for his dad. Ethan was doing it all for a decade, at his physical peak while mentally being torn in two. It was a very emotional ride making this film, with highs and lows to the extreme. From the cliffs of Ceuse, France to the big walls of Yosemite, CA - we saw it all and watched Ethan do his thing from behind the camera so that we could share this amazing story.
