Everyone meet Jack, DRDC’s goodest employee 🐶

I felt better about introducing you to him now so you could all say hello before we are forced to say goodbye to him 💔 he’s been fighting the good fight (🖕🏻cancer) for almost three years now, all while remaining the happiest boy ever. But I know he’s getting tired.

Most production days, the dogs are kicked out so I can have all the space I need to be as quick and efficient as I can be. But these days he’s free to be wherever he wants, even if that is right by my feet at my heat press. He’s been (literally) attached to my side for the last 11 years and someday soon I’ll miss having someone to step over and remember not to step on while working. So right in my way is where he stays. ❤️

In times like this, I’m extra thankful for Desert Roots and each and every one of you that shop with me. I left my day job at the start of market season this past fall and I’ve been able to spend all these extra days since at home with my best boy right by my side. Though any dog lover knows, it never really feels like we’ve had enough days with them when it’s their time to go.

So, hello from Jack 👋🏻 he’ll be here with us until his body decides he’s ready to rest.
